Quickstart

Get from zero to your first model request in about ten minutes. You need an Ombori ID account and a valid payment method — there is no free tier, and the sandbox is payment-method-gated by design.

1. Sign in

Go to /en/pricing and start the sandbox flow. You sign in with Ombori ID, your organization's identity provider. No passwords are stored by the service.

2. Choose a region and validate a card

Pick the region your traffic should stay in: EU, US or Switzerland. Custom regions (India, Turkey, Nigeria) are evaluated under a feasibility review and require a sales conversation first. Then validate a payment card — a fingerprint is stored so the sandbox cannot be farmed.

3. Create a key

The console creates a key starting with sk-sr-. It is shown exactly once — copy it into your secrets manager immediately. Keys are stored hashed and are addressable by hash, never returned again.

4. Send your first request

Every endpoint is OpenAI-compatible. With the gateway URL for your region:

curl https://gateway.eu.securerouter.com/v1/chat/completions \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sk-sr-..." \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
        "model": "anthropic/claude-sonnet",
        "messages": [{ "role": "user", "content": "Hello" }]
      }'

5. What happens on the wire

The gateway checks the guarantee engine before any provider is considered: your request is routed to an endpoint that satisfies the region and ZDR constraints in your contract. If no compliant endpoint exists, the API answers with a no_compliant_provider error — it never downgrades silently.
